Your privacy.
Biohacker Atlas is an independent device-comparison site. We collect the minimum data needed to understand how the site is used — and we never sell it.
Who we are
Biohacker Atlas is operated by Kulik Media UG (the "operator", "we", "us"). Contact us at [email protected] for any privacy request.
What data we collect
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4: pages viewed, referring page, approximate (city-level) location derived from IP, device and browser type, and on-site events such as outbound affiliate clicks. IP addresses are not stored by us in identifiable form.
- Your consent choice, stored locally in your browser (
localStoragekeyba-consent) so we don't ask again on every visit. This never leaves your device. - Newsletter email, only if you choose to subscribe, used solely to send the updates you asked for.
We do not collect names, payment details, or health information. We don't run advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.
Cookies & consent
We use Google Consent Mode v2. If you visit from the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, analytics cookies are denied by default until you opt in via our consent banner. Everywhere else, analytics is enabled by default and you can opt out at any time using the same banner (clear your browser's site data to see it again). Reject keeps analytics off; Accept turns it on.
Affiliate links
When you click a "Visit" button (a /go/ link, marked rel="sponsored nofollow"), the destination retailer or affiliate network may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. Those cookies are governed by that third party's privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure.
Third parties we share data with
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — analytics processor. See Google's privacy policy.
- Affiliate networks (e.g. Impact, ShareASale, Awin, Amazon Associates) — only when you click an affiliate link.
- Our newsletter provider — only if you subscribe.
Your rights
Under the GDPR (EU/UK/EEA) you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Under the CCPA/CPRA (California) you have the right to know what we collect and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" — we do neither. To exercise any right, email [email protected].
Data retention
Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default retention window. Your local consent choice persists until you clear your browser data. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Children
Biohacker Atlas is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the "updated" date above.
