About the atlas.
An independent comparison hub for biohacking devices — instruments over marketing, regulators over influencers, three-year math over sticker price.
Why we built this
The biohacking device market is growing fast — red light panels, smart rings, infrared saunas, PEMF mats, vagus nerve stimulators, and more. But the information landscape is broken:
- Manufacturers publish irradiance specs measured at contact distance, not treatment distance
- "FDA approved" is used interchangeably with "FDA registered" (they're completely different)
- Subscription costs are buried — a $349 ring becomes $565 over 3 years
- Most "review" sites republish press releases without independent verification
We built Biohacker Atlas to fix this. Every device comparison on this site follows our published testing methodology.
What we cover
19 categories. 176 brands. Six English-speaking markets. Each category includes a filterable comparison table, TCO calculator, and FDA/regulatory status decoder.
Our team
We're currently recruiting credentialed contributors. If you have expertise in biophotonics, sleep science, neuroscience, or clinical research and are interested in contributing to Biohacker Atlas, please reach out.
