State availability — check before you start

Fountain TRT is available in approximately 20 states. This is a significant practical constraint that the clinic’s marketing does not always foreground. Patients outside covered states cannot use this service. Verify availability for your state before beginning the intake process — the clinic’s website should have a current state list.

Topical testosterone: what it means clinically

Topical testosterone cream is absorbed through the skin and avoids the injection site management, needle disposal, and periodic injection schedule that injectable cypionate requires. For genuinely needle-averse patients, this is a meaningful quality-of-life advantage.

The clinical tradeoffs are real, however. Compounded topical testosterone has variable absorption between individuals — the same dose applied to different patients will produce different serum levels, making titration more iterative than with injections, where pharmacokinetics are more predictable.
