What it is
The Amocane Far-Infrared Sauna is a budget 1-2 person cabin sold through Amazon, with a Canadian Hemlock interior, seven carbon-fibre far-infrared panels, a tempered-glass door, WiFi plus remote control, and an indoor/outdoor rating. It’s listed here so the option is visible — we have not tested it.
What to know before buying
- This is an Amazon-only brand with no independent corporate website. There’s no company background, and warranty or parts support is unproven — your recourse is largely Amazon’s returns process.
- The unit is found mainly on Amazon UK, and it runs on 220V, not standard US 110V — for most US buyers that means a dedicated circuit and added electrical cost.
- No third-party EMF testing or independent safety certification (ETL/UL) is confirmed for this specific model. Some Amocane steam models carry ETL-listed stoves, but that doesn’t transfer to this far-infrared cabin.
Far-infrared saunas warm the body directly. We won’t repeat detox or disease-treatment claims; treat the heat as heat.
Verdict: Not yet tested
If you want the cheapest possible way into a far-infrared cabin and you’re comfortable with an unverified Amazon-only brand plus a 220V install, Amocane is one of the budget options. For documented EMF performance, certification and support, an established sauna brand is the safer purchase. We’ll revisit if we test one.
Changelog
- 2026-06-16: Initial listing. Not tested; neutral coverage of an Amazon-only brand with a 220V/install caveat.
